
Brittany Leanna Robertson (Charlotte, North Carolina; April 18, 1990), better known as Britt Robertson, is an American actress.
She began acting as a child at the Greenville Little Theater in South Carolina and made her screen debut as the younger version of Sheena in an episode of Sheena in 2000.
The following year she made a guest appearance on Power Rangers Time Force and received a Young Artist Award nomination for Best Performance in a Television Movie, Miniseries, or Special – Leading Young Actress for her role in The Ghost Club (2003).

Robertson went on to have roles in Growing Pains: Return of the Seavers (2004), Keeping Up with the Steins (2006), Dan in Real Life (2007), The Tenth Circle (2008), Mother and Child (2009), Avalon High. (2010), Scream 4 (2011) and The First Time (2011).
Robertson played the lead role of Lux Cassidy on the drama series Life Unexpected (2010–11), which was canceled in its second season despite positive reviews.
She also had a lead role in the supernatural teen drama series The Secret Circle (2011–12), but it was also canceled after its first season. In 2013, she landed a role in the main cast of the sci-fi mystery series Under the Dome, which she played until 2014.
She had subsequent roles in such films as Delivery Man (2013) and Ask Me Anything (2014), for which she won the best actress award at the Nashville Film Festival and was awarded the Boston Film Festival Award for Best Supporting Actress for her performance in White Rabbit (2013).
Robertson received broader recognition in 2015 after landing the roles of Sophia Danko on The Longest Ride and Casey Newton on Tomorrow land. For the former, she was nominated for the Teen Choice Award for Choice Movie Actress – Drama for the latter, she was nominated for the Teen Choice Award for Choice Movie Actress – Sci-Fi / Fantasy.
In 2016, he starred in the films Mr. Church, opposite Eddie Murphy, and Mother’s Day, opposite and Julia Roberts, and in 2017, he starred in the romantic science fiction film Space Between Us and in the comedy-drama film A Dog’s Purpose. That same year, she headlined the Netflix original series Girlboss, playing Sophia Amoruso.

She was born in Charlotte, North Carolina, and raised in Chester, South Carolina, where he first showed his interest in acting. She is the oldest of seven siblings, with three brothers and three sisters, and was educated at home by her mother, so she never attended school.
