Eliza Jane Taylor-Cotter (Melbourne, Victoria; October 24, 1989), known professionally as Eliza Taylor, is an Australian actress, best known for playing Rosie Cartwright on the children’s series, The Sleepover Club, and Clarke Griffin on The 100, Janae Timmins in Neighbors, Ellen Langford in Christmas Inheritance and Kat Carter in Thumper.

Her mother is an author as well as a graphic designer, her father runs a coffee shop and her stepfather is a comedian. She has two brothers from her mother’s relationship with her stepfather, and two brothers from her father. Before becoming an actress, she wanted to be a marine biologist.
On occasion, she works as an intern teacher at Actors Nest Fitzroy Street, St Kilda in Melbourne.

In 2008, she dated actor Brett Tucker, who played Daniel Fitzgerald on Neighbors for 10 months. The relationship caused controversy, due to Eliza being almost 17 years younger than Brett.
On June 7, 2019, Taylor announced via Twitter that she had married Bob Morley on May 5, 2019, at Artigas.

Professional Life of Eliza Taylor:
In 2003, she began her career at just 14 when she joined the cast of the children’s series Pirate Island where she played Sarah Redding. That same year, after her participation ended, she joined the cast of the children’s series The Sleepover Club where she played aspiring writer and journalist Rosalinda “Rosie” Cartwright during the first season of the series.
From 2004 to 2006 she appeared as a guest on series such as Blue Heelers and Blue Water High where she played Heide Lee.
On April 4, 2005, she joined the cast of the successful and popular Australian series Neighbors, where she played Janae Timmins until February 8, 2008 (after her character moved to Cairns).
She had previously appeared for the first time on the series in 2003 playing student Jacinta Martin for two episodes. She had originally auditioned for the role of Lana Crawford (but this was obtained by actress Bridget Neval).
In 2009, she appeared in two acclaimed series All Saints and Packed to the Rafters. A year later, in 2010, she played Melissa Standish on the series City Homicide.
