Early Life of Jordana Brewster:
Brewster was born in Panama and grew up between London, Brazil and the United States. She is the daughter of Alden Brewster, an American bank investor, and Maria JoãoLeal de Sousa, a Brazilian model from Sports Illustrated magazine.
Her younger sister is Isabella Brewster. Her paternal grandfather is Kingman Brewster, Jr., who was an educator, diplomat, president of Yale University, and ambassador to the United States during the late 1970s.
She studied at the Convent of the Sacred Heart in New York and at the Professional Children’s School in the same city. In 2004 she graduated from Yale University, New Haven, Connecticut. Brewster is fluent in Portuguese.

Jordana Brewster married film producer Andrew Form on May 6, 2007 in a private ceremony in the Bahamas. The two had met while filming the movie The Texas Chainsaw Massacre: The Beginning. Brewster and Form had two surrogate children: Julian (born 2013) and Rowan (born 2016). In 2020, the actress and the producer decide to separate after thirteen years of marriage.
Professional Life of Jordana Brewster:
From 1995 to 1998 she played teenage heroine Nikki Grave Munson on the CBS drama As the World Turns. In 1998 she also appeared in the science fiction film The Faculty.
In 1999 she appeared in the films The ’60s, where she played a young woman protesting the Vietnam War, and in The Invisible Circus, where she played Phoebe O’Connor.
In 2001, she first played Mia Toretto in the action movie The Fast and The Furious. Mia is the sister of Dominic Toretto (Vin Diesel) who falls in love with the handsome police officer, Brian O’Conner (Paul Walker). This role is one of her most recognized performances.
In 2004 she played the villain Lucy Diamond in the movie D.E.B.S., originally Jordana had auditioned for the role of Amy Bradshaw but director/writer Angela Robinson convinced her to play Lucy.
