She also became famous for voicing her to Eliza Thornberry of The Thornberrys and Meg Griffin in the first season of Family Guy.

Early Life of Lacey Chabert:
Chabert was born in Purvis, Mississippi, the daughter of Julie, a homemaker, and Tony Chabert, a French-speaking Cajun from Louisiana who worked as a maintenance worker for an oil company.
He has a young brother, TJ, and two sisters, Wendy and Crissy, of which one owns its own restaurant in Purvis. Chabert lives in Southern California where she moved with her family in 1994 where she began working at Cinco de familia. Lacey was “World’s Baby Petite” in the World’s Our Little Miss Scholarship Competition in 1985.

Professional Life of Lacey Chabert:
Chabert made her beginnings as the young Cosette in Les Misérables at the Broadway Theater. She was a member of Broadway Kids, which included Christy Carlson Romano, Chris Trousdale, Eden Riegel, and Greg Raposo.
At first, she was selected to play the role of young Lily in the film Return to the Blue Lagoon (1991) but she declined for unknown reasons. Chabert took on the character of Bianca Montgomery in the ABC soap opera All My Children (1993).

Made famous internationally for her role as Claudia Salinger in Family Five, she said, “I had to find out everything about that show – my first kiss, my first bra. I was 11 when I started.” She gained fame for her portrayal of Penny Robinson from the film Lost in Space (1998), based on the 1960 series. Chabert also played Rachel Sawyer in Hometown Legend.
Since 1998 she has been the voice of Eliza Thornberry in The Thornberrys including in the film adaptations made of the series The Thornberrys: The Movie (2002) and Rugrats Go Wild (2003). was the voice of Meg Griffin in the first and part of the second season of Family Guy (1999) being later replaced by Mila Kunis.
Chabert played the title role in the film “only for TV” The Brooke Ellison Story, produced by Christopher Reeve, based on a true story where a quadriplegic woman has to overcome several obstacles to graduate from Harvard. She starred in Mean Girls (2004) and the TV movie Hello Sister, Goodbye Life (2006) on ABC Family.
She appeared in the remake of Black Christmas (2006). She also made the movie An Unexpected Inheritance in 2006, under the name Olivia. She appeared in an episode of Ghost Whisperer with Jennifer Love Hewitt playing a woman with a certain resemblance to Melinda Gordon (Love Hewitt) being the reason why many fans confuse the two actresses.
