Lauren Cohan (Cherry Hill, New Jersey; January 7, 1982) is a British-American actress and model. She is best known for playing Maggie Greene on The Walking Dead, Bela Talbot on Supernatural, and Rose on The Vampire Diaries. Most recently, she was starred in the new ABC series Whiskey Cavalier.

Early Life of Lauren Cohan:
Lauren Cohan was born in Philadelphia and lived as a child in Cherry Hill Township, New Jersey, before moving to the UK. She graduated from Winchester University / King Alfred’s, where she studied Drama and English Literature, before traveling with a theater company she co-founded in college. Lauren then divided her time and worked between London and Los Angeles, participating in several films as well as some non-commercial projects.
Professional Life of Lauren Cohan:
Her film debut was in 2005 in the movie Casanova, in the role of sister Beatrice. In 2006, she starred in the sequel to the National Lampoon’s Van Wilder film, Van Wilder 2: Rise of Taj as Charlotte Higginson. Her next role was in 2007 in the movie Float.
In 2010 she played September Jones in Death Race 2, being the main antagonist. In 2016 she starred in the horror film The Boy as Greta Evans and played Marta Wayne in Batman v Superman: Dawn of Justice. In 2017 she participated in the biopic All Eyez on Me as Leila Steinberg, and in 2018 in the action movie Mile.
In 2007, Cohan joined the main cast of the third season of The CW series Supernatural, alongside Katie Cassidy, as Bela Talbot, a thief who occasionally helped the Winchester brothers.
In 2010, she had a recurring role on the second season of The CW series The Vampire Diaries, playing Rose, a 500-year-old vampire. She returns in a special appearance in the third season.
In 2011, she repeatedly played Vivian McArthur Volkoff, daughter of the main antagonist in the fourth season of the series Chuck. In May 2018, ABC confirmed Whiskey Cavalier as a series and Lauren as the lead alongside Scott Foley. The series was canceled after 13 episodes.
In October 2019, The Walking Dead was renewed for season 11 and Cohan’s return to the series was confirmed.
