Lily Jane Collins (Guildford, March 18, 1989) is a British-American actress and model. She is the daughter of musician Phil Collins. She marked her film debut with the 2009 film The Blind Side.
She has a Golden Globe Award nomination for her performance on Rules Don’t Apply. She also starred in films like Mirror Mirror (2012) playing Snow White, Abduction (2012) and Priest (2011) as Lucy Pace alongside Paul Bettany.

She was born in Guildford, Surrey, on March 18, 1989, being the second biological daughter of British musician Phil Collins and his second wife, American Jill Tavelman.
Her maternal grandmother was a Jewish-Canadian immigrant who for many years owned from a men’s clothing store in Beverly Hills, California. After her parents’ divorce in 1996, when she was seven years old, Collins moved to Los Angeles with her mother.
Her adoptive sister is actress Joely Collins and she is also half-sister of musician Simon Collins, as well as her father’s children from her third marriage, Nicholas and Matthew Collins.

Collins began acting at the age of two on the BBC series Growing Pains. As a teenager, Collins wrote a column (titled “NY Confidential”) for British magazine Elle Girl.
She has also written for Seventeen, Teen Vogue, and other Los Angeles Times magazines. She was a Nickelodeon correspondent on the orange carpet at the Kids’ Choice Awards that year. She was also the correspondent for the children’s channel during the 2008 United States presidential elections.
