Sanjay Dutt (born 29 July 1959) is an Indian actor and filmmaker best known for his work in Hindi cinema. He is also associated with some politics, Dutt is the son of famous film artist and politician Sunil Dutt and actress Nargis. He started working in Hindi films in 1971.

He then acted in several famous Hindi films. He also acted in films such as lover, comedies and acted as criminals, thugs and police officers, for which he received unprecedented praise from his fans and film critics. Professional Life of Sanjay Dutt:

As a child artist, he made his film debut in Reshma and Shera, produced by his father in 1972; In this film, he appeared as a Kavali singer. Dutt made his Bollywood debut in the 1971 film Rocky.

The case came to court in 2007 and Dutt was convicted of possessing weapons at his home from Abu Salem along with Riyaz Siddiqui, who was convicted of the Mumbai bombings.

He was given four weeks to surrender to the authorities after the court refused to release him on probation due to the seriousness of the crime.

On 16 May 2013, he surrendered to the Mumbai Police. Sanjay Dutt kept in Yerwada Central Jail. He was granted parole on 21 December 2013. The parole was extended thrice till March 2014,

to which the Bombay High Court raised concern and proposed to the Maharashtra government to amend the parole law. He returned to Yerwada Jail after parole ended. On December 24, Sanjay was out for two weeks of furlough (a few days off) given by the Yerwada Central Jail authorities. He said,

“I have lost 18 kilograms. Now if I lost more weight, I would probably disappear.” On 25 February 2016, Sanjay Dutt was released before the completion of his jail term due to his good behavior.
