The Devil All The Time is a horrifying American thriller directed by Antonio Campos, scheduled for release in 2020 on Netflix. It is an adaptation of the novel The Devil all the time by Donald Ray Pollock published in 2011.
Story Line, Brief:
In rural southern Ohio and West Virginia, Willard Russell, a tormented veteran of carnage in the South Pacific, cannot save his beautiful wife Charlotte from cancer, no matter how much sacrificial blood ‘he pours into his “prayer journal”.
Carl and Sandy Henderson, a couple of serial killers, roam the American highways in search of suitable models to photograph and exterminate. Roy, the preacher of spiders, and his virtuoso theater companion, Theodore, run away from the law. Finally, Arvin Russell, the orphaned son of Willard and Charlotte, grew up to be a good but also violent man.

Production of The Devil All the Time:
The film is based on the novel The Craft of the Devil by the American writer Donald Ray Pollock. The original edition was published in 2011 under the title The Devil All the Time by Doubleday, the German translation by Peter Torberg in 2012 by the Liebeskind publishing house. Director António Campos adapted Pollock’s novel together with Donald Ray Pollock for the film. The filming took place in Alabama. Lol Crawley acted as a cameraman. Netflix secured the rights to the film.
