Following her first starring role in the independent film Girlfight (2000), she is known for her roles as the typical tough and rebellious girl in Hollywood hits such as The Fast and the Furious, Resident Evil, SWAT, Avatar, Machete, Battle: Los Angeles, Resident Evil: Retribution, Fast and Furious 6 and Machete Kills, as well as for her role as Ana Lucia Cortez on the television series Lost.

Early Life of Michelle Rodriguez:

Michelle is the daughter of Rafael Rodriguez, a Puerto Rican who served in the US Army, and Carmen Pared, a native of the Dominican Republic. Following her parents’ divorce in 1987,

she moved with her mother to the Dominican Republic and lived there until she was eleven years old. Later, she moved to Puerto Rico, living there until she was seventeen years old. Later she settled in New Jersey.
