She is best known for her role as Princess Jasmine in the live-action of the Disney musical fantasy film Aladdin (2019). He has also contributed to Aladdin’s soundtrack.
Scott also starred in the science fiction drama series Terra Nova (2011) and the Disney Channel teen film Lemonade Mouth (2011) and played the role of Kimberly Hart in the superhero film Power Rangers (2017).
Scott was born in Hounslow, London. His mother, Usha Joshi, is of Indian Gujarati descent, was born in Uganda and immigrated to the United Kingdom at an early age. Naomi’s father, Christopher, is English. Scott also has an older brother, Joshua Scott. His parents are pastors at Bridge Church, Woodford, Redbridge, north-east London. Scott participated in missionary and outreach work. He attended Devenant Foundation School in Loston, Essex.
In June 2014, Scott married footballer Jordan Spence after dating for three years. They actually met at Scott’s parents’ church.
Scott began his singing career with the Bridge Church Youth Band. He attended Devent Foundation School. He also performed regularly in school music and drama production.
She was later discovered by British pop singer Kelly Byron from the Girl Group, who signed her as a client. She went to work with British songwriter and producer Xenomania. In 2014, the YouTube channel “Reload” released two videos featuring him as part of their “Reload Load Sessions” series.
She made her film debut in the Disney Channel UK series Life Bytes. In 2010, she played Mohini “Mo” Banerjee in the Disney Channel original film Lemonade Mouth (2011), her first role in the American film world. Nova was cast as Maddie Shannon, which premiered in September 2011 on Fox. The series was not renewed for a second season. In 2013, Scott appeared in Lemonade Mouth’s music video with co-star Brigitte Mendler. In August 2014, he released his first EP Invisible Division independently.Scott played Ryoko in Ridley Scott’s film The Martian.
He filmed the scenes, but they were eventually removed. Scott was selected by Screen International in Stars of Tomorrow 2015. In October 2015, she was cast in a co-starring in the Kimberley Hart, Pink Ranger, Power Rangers (2017) TV series of the same name. The film was released on March 24, 2017 and Scott was nominated for his first Teen Choice Award. The film met with mixed reviews upon its release and disappointed the box office, grossing 14 142 million worldwide against a budget of 10 105 million.
